Questions
Find answers to common questions about our courses, booking process, technical requirements, and Academy policies.
General Information
Do I need prior musical experience to join?
Not at all! We welcome students of all levels. If you are a complete beginner, our Foundation modules are specifically designed to introduce you to pitch, rhythm, and basic vocal techniques at a comfortable pace.
What age groups do you teach?
We offer specialized coaching for all age groups. We have dedicated "Kids Singing Classes" for ages 6-12, and our standard courses are perfect for teens, adults, and senior citizens.
Do I receive a certificate upon completion?
Yes. Upon successfully completing the full curriculum of a specific course and passing the final assessment, you will receive an official Certificate of Completion from TaalSphere Academy.
Classes & Scheduling
How do the 1:1 Private Coaching sessions work?
Private coaching is conducted via high-quality video calls. You will be paired directly with your instructor, allowing the curriculum and pacing to be 100% tailored to your specific voice, goals, and learning speed.
Can I reschedule a class if I am unavailable?
Yes, flexibility is important to us. For private 1:1 sessions, you can reschedule your class without any penalty provided you give us at least 24 hours prior notice.
What happens if I miss a Group Class?
All our live group classes are recorded. If you miss a session, you will be provided with the recording so you can catch up on the lesson and exercises before the next class.
Technical Requirements
What equipment do I need for online classes?
You do not need an expensive studio setup. A laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a reliable internet connection is sufficient. However, we highly recommend using a decent pair of wired earphones/headphones with an inbuilt microphone to prevent echo and ensure the instructor hears your true pitch.
Do I need to own a musical instrument?
Owning a physical instrument is not strictly necessary for beginner vocal classes. We provide digital Tanpura tracks and scale references. However, as you advance, having access to a harmonium or keyboard can be beneficial for your personal Riyaaz (practice).
